Heath Marshall is a Senior Vice President at Herren Associates, bringing 20 years of experience advancing critical mission priorities for the U.S. Navy. A former Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer (SWO(N)), Heath’s naval career included serving as a Reactor Mechanical Division Officer aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), leading complex reactor plant operations, post-overhaul assessments, and casualty-response scenarios, as well as additional leadership roles across multiple fleet and shore-based assignments.

At Herren, Heath leads a team advancing the design, technology, systems integration, and acquisition strategy for the Navy’s next-generation Large Surface Combatant, succeeding the Arleigh Burke-class after more than four decades in production. He was a primary author of the Naval Power and Energy Systems Technology Development Roadmap, aligning Navy, DoD, industry, and academia investments to accelerate emerging warfighting capabilities.

Previously at Deloitte and Booz Allen, Heath supported the Navy’s Science & Technology Enterprise portfolio management and assessed Total Ownership Cost (TOC) drivers for the VIRGINIA-class submarine program.

Heath holds a Bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, an MBA from the University of Maryland, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
