Vic Sorrentino is a Director at Herren Associates, improving defense outcomes by accelerating the transition of science and technology into key U.S. Navy and Marine Corps warfighting capabilities. Vic leverages over two decades of operational experience as a Surface Warfare Officer, advising senior Navy leadership on effectively aligning emerging technologies to enhance Fleet readiness and lethality.

As Deputy Director for Operational Energy (DASN Energy), Vic guided strategic R&D initiatives from concept through deployment, integrating next-generation power systems and supporting distributed maritime and Arctic operations. As Branch Chief, Director, Navy Staff (DNS), he led executive forums for the Chief and Vice Chief of Naval Operations and coordinated the annual Naval Flag and Senior Executive Service symposium attended by over 450 senior leaders. Operationally, as Chief of Staff for Standing NATO Maritime Group 2, he directed international staff operations involving 47 ships from 15 nations, strengthening NATO partnerships.

Vic holds a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University and an M.S. from American Military University.
